Market on the Farm
You know when you get those visions that just sneak in out of no where? That’s how this started three years ago. I was sowing seeds and starting my garden starts and I had a full greenhouse and wanted to have a little sale. I asked some family friends to join me and we had our first ever market on the farm. It was little. It was cute. The next year we went a little bigger. I advertised looking for local vendors. We set up a tent incase of bad weather. You all loved it & asked for more!
This was our third Market on the Farm and it was huge success. Over 300 of you came out to see our vendors and us! We had fresh brewed coffee, kombucha and honey. Goat milk soaps and creams. Organically raised grass fed beef and handmade salsa. Soy candles. A clothing boutique and fresh homemade breads. We had our two teen vendors back with their houseplants and books they wrote. Our little farm was able to put out all the garden starts, flowers, seeds & dried herb blends. A treasure for everyone!
My heart was bubbling over at the end of the day. I loved being able to bring in these small local vendors and introduce them to you all. I loved being able to encourage you to try a heirloom tomato or pepper this year. Watch you connect with old friends and meet new ones. We, ourselves, met so many people that live out here or grew up riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers in this field/sand pit. That’s our personal favorite when someone comes and tells us they grew up riding in this field or fished the river.
Thank you to each and everyone that came out or supported us from afar! We are blessed by you! If you missed the market and would like to try a few heirloom seeds this year, you can jump over to our store front (click the button below) and grab a packet or two. Thank you again for supporting our little family farm!! We see you and feel your love!!
